Hi, I’m Marina, your Lokal Esthetician
and owner of The Lokal Beauty Bar. My passion has always been all things beauty, especially skin. Knowing beauty comes from the inside out, I attended Brown Aveda to fully understand the science of skin. Having worked in both spa and dermatology settings, I was able to further my knowledge in skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, and pigmentation. I enjoy curating skincare regimens and treatments to help you achieve your skin goals. Your skins integrity is so important to me, I want to build your skin barrier leaving it happy and healthy. Marina fun fact :
Work: I am guilty of being a dual passion estie. You already know I am a sucker for skin and result driven products, facial treatment and peels. But I also really enjoy creating custom lash extensions. Especially angel lashes. Lash extensions and skincare are both so different, but it is artistry and confidence boosting.
Personal: When I am not at work I enjoy biking around the city, trying new restaurants, cooking and baking with the kids. I also have a new found love for pilates! Its a work out I don't dread going to. Not going to lie it is tough but I feel like a total bad ass afterwards. (I by no means have mastered it but I am determined to get better!)
